Job Title : Inventory Management & Process Improvement Manager

Locations : Dallas, TX - 75260

Job Type : Full Time/Direct Hire

Work Authorization : US Citizen/GC

Responsibilities

• This position will be responsible for managing global inventory levels to include proper execution of inventory cycles.
• Responsible for improving “HAN-SEI-ZAN” activities to improve delivery performance with minimum inventory (HAN: sales, SEI: production, ZAI: inventory)
• Sales forecasting (First Fit: new machines and Aftermarket)
• Production planning: production capacity and lead time.
• Coordination of Supply chain activities: transportation, shipping and receiving process.
• Coordination of Safety stock planning.
• Coordination of old order clean-up, bucket order tracking, mining bucket progress monitoring, construction bucket shell & GET preparations, etc.…
• Responsible for driving performance improvements at regional distribution centers (RDC’s) to include proper inventory levels; establishing relevant KPI’s; performance.
• Responsible for overall business process improvements to include lead time improvements.
• Responsible for identifying issues to improve customer satisfaction and corporate efficiencies to achieve future company growth goals.
• Responsible for the leadership to implement cross-functional activities.
• Responsible for the implementation of the PDCA cycle in cooperation with relevant departments (analysis, visualization, activity planning, monitoring and follow-up)
• Other job duties may be assigned.

Must know and comply with the Komatsu Worldwide Code of Business Conduct, KAC code of Conduct, Client Environment Policies, Hensley Safety Policies, and Hensley Quality Policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree: Business Administration or related field of study – Required.
• At least seven years of Project Management experience – Required.
• Six Sigma: green belt or higher – Preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Excel – Required.
• SAP or equivalent ERP system experience – Required.
• Engineering (manufacturing / process engineering) / technical background / production control experience – Preferred
