Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking a Surface Combat Systems subject matter expert with operational combat system experience supporting the U.S. Navy specializing in Surface Ship Aegis Combat Systems and their operational employment. The successful candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to think creatively and solve problems as well as collaborate effectively with senior government and military staff with little supervision.

Required Qualifications:
- Former Aegis Combat Systems or Aegis Operations Surface Warfare Officer (O-3 or above), Limited Duty Officer (LDO), or Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) with a minimum of 6 years Navy Active duty experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance
Desired, but not required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution
- Demonstrated experience in any of the following areas:
- Completion of ship deployment in support of battle group operations
- Test and Evaluation experience
- Tactics development and evaluation
- Navy instructor/training specialist
- Specialty fleet systems qualifications
Maintaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves periodic comprehensive background checks. Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.
