Job description
Responsibilities
•
Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, the technician performs a variety of duties in the operating room to assist the surgical team
•
Functions as a member of the sterile team creating and maintaining a sterile field and passing instruments to the surgeons
•
Sets up tables, instruments and supplies required for specific operations
•
Assists in preparation and draping of patient and operating area
•
Prepares and passes instruments, sutures, sponges, and supplies needed in the operative procedure and maintains a correct count
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
