Title: Tableau Data Visualization Developer
Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance: TS/SCI CI Polygraph
LinQuest is seeking a senior data analyst, with a financial background, to analyze and understand a wide range of data to help understand and improve the customer’s visualization experience. Design and implement user friendly data visualization displays supporting financial data analysis supporting multiple organizational requirements. Use appropriate visualization tools, including Tableau that are intuitive and accessible to the user, leadership and external users. Support stakeholders by identifying system enhancements and make modifications to support customer analysis changing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Work with technical teams to define scope and acquisition approach for a constant stream of evolving program requirements and external investments
- Communicate and coordinate daily with several external agency financial and technical points-of-contact
- Ensure timely and successful funds transfers through various external agency processes to meet mission-critical requirements and fiscal constraints
- Prepare and coordinate management approval briefings
- Prepare technical evaluations for US Government leadership supporting program controls
- Participate in weekly and monthly contract and programmatic status reviews, and meetings
- Monitor contractor programmatic performance and complete custom analysis tasks as requested
- Assist with contractual and budget planning to include future competitive acquisitions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- 3-5 years of software experience developing Tableau dashboards to visualize datasets to filter and query data
- Knowledge of underlying data structures and formats, including flat files, excel tables and rational databases to be visualized
- 5 years of experience supporting NRO, DIA, or NGA financial and program organizations
- Understanding of business intelligence tools suites, to include Tableau, Python and Microsoft products
- Close client experience supporting customer needs
- Familiarity and experience with budget planning and acquisition process
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, quick reaction work environment at the customer location
- Ability to efficiently multi-task to ensure continuous health of program funding profiles
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a recent CI Polygraph
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Business or MBA
- 10+ years supporting a US Government Financial Office developing database and analysis tools
- Ability to work alongside other contractors developing tools to visualize data to improve decision making and eliminate inefficiencies
- Strong analysis and quality assessment skills in order to explain program financial issues clearly and accurately to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with successful full life-cycle development project funding profiles
- Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities
- Tableau certification or Data visualization portfolio certifications
