Position Summary:


The Talent Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Talent Advisor’s in implementing the overall recruiting strategy. The Talent Coordinator will ensure candidates are fully prepared to begin employment by completing various administrative tasks and assisting with outreach efforts. This role will require the ability to multitask all while providing timely customer service.


Essential Functions:


  • Prepare new hire paperwork and acts as the liaison for new hires during their pre-hire process. The pre-hire process includes, but is not limited to candidate pre-employment medical clearances, background checks and miscellaneous paperwork.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews for all departments.
  • Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires.
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.
  • Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants.
  • Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing. May provide initial screening to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements.
  • Arranges travel and lodging for applicants, if necessary.
  • Conducts reference checks.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Support intern/externship programs by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; advising managers on training and coaching.
  • Prepares and post jobs to ATS and appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges, etc.
  • Maintains communication with applicants during the selection process and assures that all applicants receive feedback regarding their application for employment.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager to efficiently drive the timely fill of open positions.
  • Provides analytical and well documented reports to management of recruitment metrics.
  • Supports HR team and fills in for other HR members when needed.


Other Responsibilities:


  • On a scheduled basis may be required to work at any satellite facility to include Fresno offices for coverage.
  • Attend meetings as directed.
  • Other duties as required.


Qualifications:


  • High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven work experience in recruiting or a similar role. Minimum of two years prior recruiting experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.
  • Strong decision-making skills required.
  • Health care organization experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills required, experience with ADP Workforce now preferred.
