Responsibilities:
Position Overview:
Under the general supervision of the scheduling center manager and director of ambulatory patient care, the Triage Nurse will be responsible for patient triaging, the nurse phone line, assisting with nurse case management, nursing assessments, collaboration with providers and other departments, and provision of quality patient care in compliance with local, state and federal regulations and accreditation standards. Remote is a possible option after 6 months.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current CA Registered Nurse License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience in ambulatory care nursing/ICU/ ED and/or education
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)
Preferred:
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience in Multi-Group Health Center setting
