POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
THEATER DIRECTOR
LINCOLN TRAIL COLLEGE
DESCRIPTION: The Theater Director position is a full-time position. Primary responsibilities include coordinating and producing the spring and fall theater productions, community outreach and recruiting activities, program marketing, budgeting for productions, fundraising for the theater program, partnering with Community Services to produce a Children's Summer theater program, training for and providing or overseeing theater tech services for outside entities using the theater, overseeing physical theater management responsibilities, such as theater and scene shop organization and maintenance, equipment management, theater safety code issues, and teaching theater classes up to 9 credit hours per semester.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required, with a Master's degree preferred in Theater, Drama, or equivalent experience required. Preference will be given to applicants with teaching and musical experience.
WAGES: Commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include, but are not limited to: medical, dental, and life insurance; paid sick leave, and personal days; and participating in State Universities Retirement System.
