Job description

Basic Function: Overseeing daily transportation & logistics activities; performing all the required activities for shipping items out of Fori; prepare all shipping documents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must have Excel experience.
• Be primary contact for all shipping for company.
• Create Shipping List in Made 2 Manage.
• Review Truck Loading sheet(s) and verify that information matches actual items listed.
• Visual Inspection.
• Consulting with shop leader, build leader and or project manager.
• Authorization to correct or have corrected the Truck Loading sheets and how skids are loaded for transportation.
• Create Commercial Invoice Shipping Documents in Excel.
• Project Manager to supply invoice value for completion of document.
• Understand and use HTS and Schedule B numbers. Be able to research correct codes
• Understand and use INCO Terms.
• Clear import shipments from Customers, Vendors & Subsidiaries.
• Create Certificate of Origin Shipping Documents in Excel.
• Create Bill of Ladings for freight shipments.
• Manual BOL
• Per Carriers websites
• Preprinted forms
• Maintain Record of Shipments per Government Regulations.

Create "Central Shipping Log” for all projects in excel or other appropriate format.

• Continue to improve and develop standardize "securing methods” for various truck types, to ensure safe delivery of equipment.
• Responsible for visually inspecting, taking pictures, keeping documents of all out going shipments. Disbursing copies of completed shipping documents to appropriate personnel.
• Training for shop personnel on shipping procedures.
• Obtain quotes for transportation services.
• Obtain budgetary transportation quotes for Sales.
• Work with Purchasing to negotiate transportation rates for Parcel carriers.
• Maintains clean and organized work area.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
