Transportation Senior Engineer Responsibilities:
- Transportation Senior Engineer with experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Responsible for multifaceted engineering design tasks, project delivery, and interactions with clients and public agencies.
- Planned, scheduled, conducted, and coordinated detailed design phases of engineering projects.
- Obtain, negotiate, and deliver projects successfully in the public-sector transportation market.
- Manage and take responsibility for technical work content produced by co-workers.
- Prepare proposals and reports.
- Make presentations to prospective clients and project stakeholders, including responding to questions from internal and external audiences.
- Facilitate collaborative teams, including informal mentorship of junior-level staff.
Transportation Senior Engineer Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of technical experience in transportation design.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineering license.
- FDOT experience preferred.
- Proficiency with planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating design phases of transportation projects.
- Proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads, MicroStation, GEOPAK, 3D corridor modeling, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience in consulting engineering is preferred.
- Expertise in client interaction, with demonstrated success in client relationships and client development.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive, energetic, and cooperative attitude with customers and internal staff.
