Christmas Tree Shops is a Year Round retailer. We are seeking to hire a Treasury Analyst and are offering a remote schedule for this full time hourly position.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, the Treasury Analyst will participate in ongoing and timely analysis and reconciliations of banking and cash transactions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Daily and weekly cash plan updates, Borrowing base analysis and month end closing responsibilities. Ad hoc reporting and analysis are also a daily requirement in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily Cash plan updates
• Weekly cash plan updates for bank including supporting report creation
• Conducting Borrowing Base analysis, update Borrowing Base weekly and submitting to lenders with all supporting reporting
• Request daily funding and ensure receipt
• Reporting of banking and lender fees incurred throughout the month to the Accounting team for recording
• Reviewing all cash transactions-identifying and following through with issues with the bank and internal Accounting/AP partners in a timely manner. Reconciling and following through with settlement batches that may not have processed completely
• Participate in the month end close process by recording journal entries and analyzing accounts.
• Reviewing and analyzing bank fees to identify discrepancies and opportunities to reduce operational costs
• Ad hoc analysis and reporting
• Provide support during internal and external audit

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other Business-related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting department.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including Intermediate Excel skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• This position will be a balance of work-from-home and corporate office in Middleboro, MA
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
