This is a superb opportunity to join the hotel team of The Marker Hotel Accommodation Department as Turndown Assistant.

Specific Duties:

• To carry out all duties in line with departmental Standards Manual (Leading Quality Assurance);
• To have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within the accommodation department;
• To service guest rooms and public corridors up to required standards
• To provide turn down service when required;
• To service public areas when required;
• To ensure that the trolley used has been fully stocked and is clean for the next day

For Turndown Service:

• To service bedrooms during turndown service (18:00 to 21:30);
• To help out in other areas when required;
• Provide a channel for communication within the hotel to effectively deal with all telephone and email enquiries in a professional and courteous manner;
• To carry out cleaning as required;
• To liaise with other departments to ensure that all guest requests are attended to efficiently.

Requirements and qualifications

• Good command of the English language;
• Previous experience in a similar role in a 4/5 star hotel;
• Ability to work in the late evening.
