Description
SAIC is a longtime partner to the U.S. Navy’s Undersea Warfare technical community. We are a large prime contractor supporting Undersea Warfare clients in Newport & Middleton RI areas. Our history of providing the highest quality technical support to these programs has resulted in the recent award of numerous new contracts that include:
- Development/production of US Navy torpedo testing equipment
- Building MK 48 torpedo after body tail cones and fuel tanks
- Operating the Propulsion Test Facility for torpedo test
- Designing and modernizing anti-torpedo defense systems
- Digital Engineering across the design and sustainment lifecycle, powered by AI/VR
- Providing hardware and software engineering design support for tactical systems and electronic warfare systems.
