Essential Job Duties
The primary purpose of this position is to manage, organize, and analyze data. Specifically, this data manager position will help support the senior data manager, project coordinators, and faculty members by extracting, transforming, validating, and managing institute datasets, analyzing data from these databases, and designing and managing data visualization solutions for ongoing projects.
In addition, this position helps with selecting and programing data /collection management solutions for FDA-compliant clinical trials.
Data may come from various formats and sources, including but not limited to RDMBS, FTP/CSV/VML, web surveys, web services, wearable devices, accelerometers, neurocognitive assessments, and environmental sensors. Datasets are generated from these data in widely used formats such as SAS, SPSS, and R.
Of note, data integrity is critically important in this role and across all of this work.
