Sev1Tech is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Videography - Photography Specialist to support PEO Soldier. PEO Soldier supports Soldiers by developing, integrating, acquiring, fielding, and sustaining products to provide significant improvements in battle command, situational awareness, survivability, and mobility of Soldiers.
The Videography - Photography Specialist will:
- Possess and independently applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments to coordinate with customers for explicit guidance regarding video and photographic projects in support of program and organizational objectives.
- Advises customers on video production including location, setting, style, on-set logistics, and pick-up shots.
- Advises and assists in the development of shooting scripts and storyboards to support video production that meets customer requirements.
- Using Government provided applications and equipment, provides videography and photography support; makes technical decisions regarding such elements as appropriate lighting, shooting angle, shot
size, and placement and type of microphone. - Integrates and edits recorded footage, images, music, dialogues, graphics and effects to develop draft and final productions characterized by logical sequencing and seamless, smooth-running transitions that
match the customer’s vision and is suitable for presentation using prescribed media. Uses current clip-art and file formats. - Creates, edits, resizes, crops, adjusts parameters (color, brightness, etc.) and converts file formats of raster (bitmap) and vector images.
- Responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment. Sets up and installs equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, video screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards for events and functions such as meetings, ceremonies, presentations, and press news conferences.
- Must have a Secret Level Clearance
- Related Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Proficiency for tasks, at the level described, using Roxio Toast and Adobe applications (e.g. Illustrator, Lightroom, & Photoshop) on a Windows operating system and, Morph Age 2, Final Cut Pro, and Compressor, DVD Studio Pro on an Apple MAC operating system
- 1+ years of PEO Soldier experience; DoD or Army Experience
