Who are we hiring?
The Vice President, Enterprise Project Management is responsible for building and leading a team of project management professionals capable of initiating, organizing, and tracking milestone deliverables for multiple technical and business projects across various disciplines within the company. The VP will be responsible for the creation and oversight of the Project Management Office which will directly manage a small team of project managers and will have matrix responsibility of divisional project leads across the company. A primary focus of the Project Management Office will be to shift how work is performed manually to scalable technical solutions. This team will manage project timelines, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure projects deliver their end state within scope, budget, and on schedule.

What will you do?
Provide leadership and subject matter expertise on project management practices for Madison Square Garden Entertainment.
- Assessing and reporting on identified and anticipated project risks and lead risk avoidance or mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
- Ensuring the project is aligned with the goals and timelines of initiatives as defined in scope of work and schedule.
- Ensuring consistency and best practices are utilized in the management and communication of projects.
- Planning and directing the work of internal and 3rd party vendor contributors to the project.
- Identifying areas of process improvement or automation to promote increased business operational efficiency.
- Independent problem solving in understanding and applying company policies and processes.
- Competence creating and executing processes and procedures guiding the actions of team members and corporate employees ensuring best practice project management techniques are tailored to corporate needs and culture.
- Provide timely updates/metrics on corporate projects against critical paths and milestones, key operational and risk assessments influencing senior executive decision making.
- Enforce standards and controls germane to good project management principles across departments.
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security and compliance policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.

o 10+ years combined experience working as a project manager and leading a team in this function.,
o Comfortable navigating a matrixed management environment.
o Strong influencing and negotiation skills in engaging fellow executives and stakeholders.
o Polished interpersonal skills with a professional and calm demeanor in high stress situations.
o Working knowledge of the Microsoft O365 tool suite to include Planner & Project.
o 10+ years combined experience working as a project manager and leading a team in this function.,
o Comfortable navigating a matrixed management environment.
o Strong influencing and negotiation skills in engaging fellow executives and stakeholders.
o Polished interpersonal skills with a professional and calm demeanor in high stress situations.
o Working knowledge of the Microsoft O365 tool suite to include Planner & Project.

o Certifications
- Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Project Management Institute Program Management Professional (PgMP)
- Project Management Institute Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)
Supervision:
- 2 direct line project manager coordinators.
- Multiple dotted line embedded project management employees within business departments and teams.
SPECIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Daily in office attendance.
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed.
- Willingness to respond to evolving issues at night/on weekends.
- Willingness to travel on short notice.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
