WAINWRIGHT RECREATIONAL COMPLEX

Wainwright Recreation Facility Site Supervisor

Purpose: To provide a presence, and make sure individuals follow all policies at the Wainwright Farm Recreation Complex, on a daily basis.The duties will involve, but not limited to, transporting persons in need of assistance, enforcing use policies and other tasks associated with the Wainwright Recreational Complex event management. A complete job description is available upon request. Knowledge of the Department’s safety rules and practices for site supervision and operations are of most importance. Applicants may perform duties in adverse weather conditions for short periods. The position will run from approximately April to November. The schedule is up to a 40-hour workweek and will include weekend hours. Communication and interpersonal relation requirements include the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, keep simple records and to cooperate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and facility users. A valid Maine Class C license is required.

Supervision Exercised: This position is directly reports to the Recreation Manager of Athletic Facilities and or their designee. This position may also report to the Director and or Deputy Director of Parks, Recreation and Waterfront

Rate of Pay: $14.00-$16.00 per hour, up to 40 hours a week
