One of the world’s leading logistics companies, based in Rathcoole, is seeking to recruit a Warehouse Operative. The successful applicant will be responsible for order picking, goods in receipts, stock controlling, house-keeping and general warehouse activity.

The hours for this role are 2pm - 10pm Mon-Fri.

Own transport is required as the building is not accessible via public transport.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating and maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse while keeping a safe and secure working environment

• Provide the highest level of picking standards of customer products

• Ensure all deliveries are checked in accurately and that no sub-standard or incorrect goods are received into the warehouse

• Ensure that Goods Receiving and Dispatching procedures are followed at all time

• Protect and handle all stock to ensure ZERO damage

• Understand your department’s action plans and support the goals and targets set out by your manager

• Ensure Company Health and Safety standards of performance are followed at all times

• Assist in cycle counting and stock checks

• Perform other related duties as required

• General housekeeping in the warehouse

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a fast paced warehouse environment

• In-date PPT licence - Essential

• Manual Handling Certificate -Essential

• Fork Truck Driving Licence including VNA and Reach desirable

• Strong warehouse management systems experience

• Quality focused to ensure highest level of accuracy on all processes

• Strong advocate of Health and Safety policies throughout the company
