• 
  Actively participate in the planning, organization, and monitoring of the receiving, put away, storage, replenishment and distribution to the picking areas; ensuring a smooth and consistent operation so that goods are located and distributed to proper areas in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy shipping requirements.
• Training employees, and assigning duties to crew members
• Maintaining the receiving area by keeping clean and organized
• Maintaining receiving records
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, by overseeing the movement, control, and storage of product throughout the DC and analyzing data from inventory movements and other warehouse processes
• In partnership with the warehouse manager, develop plans to manage, monitor, consolidate and retrieve storage to allow maximum utilization of space
• Implement and maintain accurate controls and procedures to properly implement cycle count operations and physical inventories.
• Analyze and correct inventory discrepancies as needed. Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future discrepancies (systems, process or people deficiencies).
• Act as a mentor by providing leadership and expertise within the department
• Monitor and resolve workplace safety issues to keep employee safe by complying with company safety policies, procedures, and best practices
• Other projects as assigned by Warehouse Director

• 
  BA/BS in Business, Logistics or related discipline; or at least 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• E-Commerce or B2B Distribution experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of Warehouse processes
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (especially Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exhibit can-do attitude, strong interpersonal skills, including good relationship-building skills, and the ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
• Excellent internal/external customer service skills, ability to be flexible, work both independently, and as part of a team
• Possess and maintain excellent time management, customer service, strong analytic and organization and prioritization skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills, bringing new ideas and creative solutions to existing processes and issues
• Ability to multi-task and work within tight timelines

• Capable of extensive walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying items weighing 50 lbs.
