Job Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor - Evening Shift is responsible for the smooth operation of the Warehouse team on the Evening Shift. They maintain a high level of housekeeping within the warehouse by ensuring that all goods received are put away to their correct locations. They will also manage stock integrity within our warehouses and supervise the unloading of vehicles.

Hours of Work: 4.30pm to 2am (Monday to Thursday) 4.00pm to 11pm (Friday)

Salary: Negotiable

The Role:

• Management of all goods in/ goods out and record on SAP system
• Ensure that all products are bar coded to the standards required
• Ensure the welfare of all internal vehicles
• Maintains a high standard of housekeeping within the warehouse
• Conduct daily briefings with warehouse staff to discuss the daily plan
• Conducts regular safety spot checks and risk assessments
• Oversees the unloading/loading of all vehicles
• Proactively resolves all warehouse related issues and report to the Warehouse Lead.
• Liaise with relevant administration areas within Head Office
• Liaise with the Warehouse Manager regarding ER issues and to ensure that the required operational staffing levels are maintained at all times.
• Preparation of warehouse staff roster/holidays .
• Liaise daily with other key managers within the business
• Coordinate and execute all daily activities associated with stock control to maintain correct quantities of stock on hand and also on our ERP system.
• Metrics reporting e.g. stock counts accuracy and root cause analysis of any inaccuracy issues.
• Liaise with the Stock Control Administrator regarding the container schedule to planning in terms of urgency, workload, and manpower
• Coordinate and expedite necessary paperwork for all stock movements and transactions within the warehouse.
• Provide support and involvement in process change and improvement and in projects relating to product inventory
• Maintain warehouse and all equipment to the highest standards
• Maintain a tidy as you go approach to housekeeping ensuring no product is ever left anywhere but in a scanned location
• Liaise with H&S Officer ensuring the highest H&S standards are met at all times
• Drive our “No Incidents No Accidents” initiative within your teams

The Candidate:

• VNA, Counter Balance and Reach Truck license
• Strong email and PC skills
• Attention to detail
• H&S and staff management knowledge
