Job description

• Follow established plant wide and department safety rules as well as all GMP, SQF, SOP and Work Instruction guidelines
• Report any safety concerns or problems to Supervisor
• Safely operate equipment in accordance with training checklist
• Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment
• Operate turret truck to pick product for shipments in accordance with daily schedule
• Operate forklift to stage picked product on the dock
• Use hand held or truck mounted terminals to update warehouse inventory
• Assist in the maintenance of accurate inventory records by means of cycle counts
• using DcLink
• Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments either manually or using a forklift
• Inspect incoming product and packages for damage and report findings to appropriate personnel
• Maintain work area and department in a clean an orderly manner
• Communicate and cooperate with other employees and departments in a positive and constructive manner
• Perform any and all job assignments that employee has been trained to do.

Capable of working with limited supervision and handle multiple tasks at one time.

Must successfully complete the tow motor training and certification process and maintain license.

Must be able to work at heights at 30 ft. above ground.

Education and/or Experience:

High School diploma, GED equivalent required. Previous warehousing experience preferred.

Ability to perform basic math skills and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Must have the ability to identify and correct problems.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret common documents. Must have ability to effectively present information.

Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
