AlphaGraphics Loudoun is a boutique marketing agency in Leesburg, VA. We cater to entrepreneurs, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations throughout Loudoun County. Our team offers the full range of digital and traditional marketing solutions.
As a website designer, you would work closely with our owner to create websites, web pages, landing pages and visuals that would help our clients promote their organizations, products and services. You would also help maintain sites we have built for previous clients. You would also assist the team in developing and posting content to social media channels (particularly, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube). You would also keep our existing website up-to-date.
The ideal candidate has intermediate to advanced knowledge of web development, WordPress, themes and plug-ins,Woo commerce, Yost, Google Analytics, and SEO strategies. We are looking for an employee who can develop sites and pages quickly based on PSDs provided by our design team. We also need someone who can troubleshoot issues and research solutions as required.
You are welcome to work from your home office, if you prefer. However, all development work would be completed on our servers.
Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration to produce websites, web pages, and landing pages for our clients and AlphaGraphics Loudoun using WordPress
- Brainstorm visual concepts
- Collaborate with clients and other staff members to develop creative ideas for new graphic and web content
- Assist with other tasks as needed.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has a great passion for web development, who is also sharp, creative, and resourceful, and has excellent organizational skills. Preference will be given to those with previous experience with WordPress, in web design & development, and with marketing.
Strong design skills and an intermediate knowledge of the following applications is a must: WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Familiarity with HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript is highly desirable. 3-5 years of professional front-end web development experience required.
Majors
