Founded in 1792, WHSmith is a leading retailer in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. We operate a chain of high street and travel stores selling mainly books, stationery, magazines and newspapers. We have been a concession partner of Arnotts since winter of 2011, trading on their basement floor.
KNOW THE ROLE
We’re looking for someone with a passion for books, someone who will be able to give our customers the best advice when it comes to picking the right titles for themselves or their loved ones this Christmas.
KNOW WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
A candidate who:
—has experience working in a busy sales environment
—can learn fast, is quick on their feet, and can use their initiative
—has experience of a team environment, and works well within one
—is flexible, available to work weekends and evenings
—has excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service
