Autism Behavioral Health is looking for a Behavior Technician / Registered Behavioral Therapist (RBT) in Connecticut!

Job Summary:

The BT / RBT provides behavioral therapy to children with autism and related disorders in their homes to allow the child to function more effectively in their everyday lives.

*If the position begins as Part-Time due to availability, there will be opportunity for Full-Time status if desire*

Core Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree
• Prior experience working with children.
• Prior experience working with individuals with special needs.
• MUST be available to work weekday afternoons and/or evenings between the hours of 3:30pm and 6:30pm for a minimum of 10 hours per week.
• Knowledge and experience in theory and application of Applied Behavior Analysis.
• RBT credentials preferred. AHB will provide RBT coursework and training to the right candidate.

Job Description:

• Improve children's quality of life by implementing individualized behavior support plans and an appropriate developmental curriculum designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Collect data on all behaviors targeted and meet with supervisors weekly/biweekly to analyze the information gathered.
• Participate in initial and ongoing training.
