POSTION SUMMARY:
The Student Affairs Coordinator works alongside the Head of Scheduling, Registrar, and Department Chairs (Film, Acting for Film, and Liberal Arts & Sciences) on the NY Campus on projects related to the BFA programs.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities are general duties that a particular employee in this position may or may not be required to perform. The day-to-
day duties required of this position may vary.
- Complete Degree Audits for all BFA students to confirm degree completion.
- Compile the F grade list every semester.
- Assist with compiling BFA related scheduling information.
- Assist with sending out schedules to students.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Sending acceptance letters to conservatory applicants.
- Coordinating and scheduling graduation.
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:
- Must possess excellent organizational skills as well as an ability to work cooperatively with
- others.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to think critically
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Excel, Work, PowerPoint and FileMaker.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
