Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Finance - Europe the Account Co-ordinator will play a key role in the financial management of the European region.

The Account Co-Ordinator will partner with the business on client facing cash management of key projects and client accounts. This is an exciting role that will involve regular interaction with business leaders and provide excellent opportunities for career development.

The successful candidate will be finance professional with the technical, personal and business skills to gain trust and respect from the senior management, line management and business partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Track and manage project purchase order status and ensure the business is requesting renewals well ahead of expiry
  • Analyse monthly timesheets and expenses on multiple projects to determine correct amounts to invoice to clients
  • Ensure no build up of work in progress on projects or accounts
  • Ensure correct rates are used in all billings and identify opportunities for rate changes and increases
  • Ensure timely follow up with clients on unpaid balances exceeding agreed credit terms
  • Perform commercial analysis as directed
  • As this is a new role the requirements of it will develop over time under the direction of the Director of Finance

Desired Experience and Education:

  • Previous accounts receivables experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of Revenue recognition accounting standard or part qualified accountant
  • Computer systems covered: MS Suite plus Accounts packages
  • Experience working within a multicurrency environment would be an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised with structured record keeping
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ideal candidate will be results driven, self-motivated and resourceful with excellent client relationship skills
