Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute annual sales plan and tactics aligned with growing a geographic territory.
  • Account management, including managing existing accounts. Requires account planning monthly.
  • Prospect new customers and develop existing customers.
  • Thorough technical knowledge of BCS products, services and applications including ability to develop proposals in response to requests for quotation.
  • Seek new market opportunities, including bid-spec work, utilizing Construct Connect (construction database)
  • Drive specifications towards BC&S offerings, with assigned consulting engineers.
  • Develop presentation materials for decision makers including specifying engineers, design-build contractors, and contractors describing BCS competitive advantages and value proposition.
  • Team with Technical Solutions team, in building customer relationships
  • Work with Technical Solutions team on customer training and calendar, supporting sales objectives.
  • Utilize sales tools effectively (CRM/Hubspot, estimating team) to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunities within accounts. Generate a high level of activity to feed the sales pipeline and manage opportunities to successfully move them through the sales cycle to close.
  • Attend and present at trade shows. Participate in professional organizations to grow market.
  • Travel, as needed, to support territory.

Qualifications:

  • HVAC/Controls/BAS sales experiences
  • Experience prospecting and maintaining accounts.
  • Experience with Building Automation/Mechanical contractors and end user (Commercial) businesses.
