Responsibilities
- ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Being the first point of contact for growing customers and support global Key-Account-Teams in daily business
- Drive commercial activities for your assigned accounts, including generating new business & maintaining current customers
- Effectively utilize sales management tools like CRM (Customer Relationship Management), Sales Data Warehouse (SDW), Business Intelligence (BI), etc. to manage project updates, customer contacts, quotations, & sales related data
- Customer Project Management: Ability to understand customer schedule and proactively follow both internally and externally for smooth launch
- Explore and learn new applications and requirements for e-Powertrain in Commercial Vehicles and Power Generation
- Bring new business/product ideas and opportunities to FST based on deep understanding of customers’ needs and challenges
- Drive price & product portfolio management for your area of responsibility in conjunction with FST Lead Centers
- BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Assist with development of Global market segment strategies and support Global Segment Director by analyzing market data and developing go-to-market strategies
- Monitor major project activities in CRM including pipeline tracking, project updates and reviews
- Carry out market analysis by trade shows, desk research, data analysis & prepare content for management
- Project Management in Sales for Segment/Sector specific topics (e.g. Marketing / CRM)
Qualifications
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or BS with disciplines in Engineering, Business, Management or other related to automotive industry and or manufacturing, and with 1 -3 years of automotive or commercial vehicle experience
- Ability to travel 20% - 30% of the time, some international may travel required (Mexico and Europe)
- Written and verbal English communication skills
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- All described in minimum qualifications
- BS in engineering with over 5-7 years of automotive or commercial vehicle work experience. In commercial role, negotiating issues such as pricing and project schedule
- Work experience dealing with Global Automotive OEM’s or Tier accounts a plus
- Aggressive self-starter with strong organization skills and attention to details requiring minimal supervision
- Strong negotiation skills – Both internally and externally; ability to balance various groups need
- Strong communication skills – Fully understand expectation, prepare proposal, and reach agreement
- Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Strong IT skills preferrable on Microsoft 365, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP R3, SAP Business Intelligence, Data Mining
- Project Management experience is a plus
