Job description
The Account Development manager is responsible for driving sales and renewals across the NieslenIQ suite of products and ensuring effective account planning and management across an assigned client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing relationships with assigned clients resulting in achieved revenue target and client satisfaction, increased client engagement and selling Retail Measurement services and NielsenIQ solutions
- Developing a deep understanding of client industry/business to plan/execute sales strategies to drive contract renewals
- Maintaining strong C-suite relationships, securing new revenue opportunities for both short and long cycles
- Proactively expanding client network, building and owning local customer relationships,
- Unlock new local stakeholders / buyer personas / budget holders across the account
- Collecting and sharing Voice of Customer through ongoing client interactions
- Partnering with Global Account Development and Customer Success to develop and execute Account Plans and JBPs
- Owns prospecting and identification of local selling opportunities for the generalist product set
- Bring in the right sales and product specialists and customer success resources to support local account; Orchestrate local client relationships across roles
- Owning the forecasting and achievement of revenue targets for your client portfolio
Ideal Role Requirements:
- Experience in FMCG sector or equivalent with appreciation of Nielsen products, services and data
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Strong sales drive
- Strong understanding of the client’s needs
- Analytical & problem-solving skills developed at the level which allows to sell data-driven solutions
- Experience in client-facing roles, including negotiations
- Very strong business English, both verbal and written
- Numerical literacy
- Strong time management / project management skills
- Capable of working as part of a team within a fast paced, challenging and demanding environment whilst maintaining high standards
- Comfortable working in a digital enabled environment
- Previous account management experience a benefit
