As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Canada Desk in Bloomington, MN which is part of Aon Global Client Network (AGCN). About AGCN:
The Aon Global Client Network (AGCN) is a practice group within Aon Risk Solutions which is dedicated to leading the multinational risk management strategy and providing tailored solutions for Aon’s retail global clients emanating from all industry sectors. The AGCN is made up of interconnected business units which are located in major business hubs around the world and are comprised of 1,300 professionals who help clients design and implement their global risk management strategies. AGCN colleagues are responsible for negotiating global insurance coverage, providing strategic consultation relating to all global lines of insurance, and coordinating the engagement and ongoing relationships of Aon’s global office network. AGCN experts understand the intricacies of multinational risk management and can demonstrate the collective experience of Aon, and ensure those teams around the world are operating under a coordinated and aligned basis. Working with consistent protocols and supported by shared technology, the AGCN is accountable for the execution of effective global services. Account Specialist Job Responsibilities:
Assists the account management team (account executives, brokers, etc.) on assigned accounts, handling the day-to-day client support service processes.
Where applicable, serves as the primary collaborate with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed effectively.
Work with team on administration matters such as following-up on invoice generation, receivables and collections. Review and resolve income leakage reports, etc., as needed.
Process endorsements/audits, certificates of insurance, auto id cards, invoicing and policy transmittals.
Assists broker with renewal processes such as renewal requests and proposals
Working with Surplus Lines Unit to ensure placement is compliant, proper documentation obtained, taxes and fees are correctly assessed and processed on invoice.
Assist Canada Desk team as back up as needed Knowledge and Expertise
1 – 3 years of experience within client/customer support role, preferably with an insurance company, broker or agency.
Property/Casualty Insurance license preferred. If not licensed, license must be obtained within six months of start date.
Excellent organization skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Ability to communicate optimally with others (written and oral).
Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook required

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $60,000 to $75,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Bloomington, MN. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
