Accounts Support Specialist

We are currently looking to hire an Accounts Support Specialist to support our Hardware & Bath division. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, adaptable, and be able to multi-task. Looking for an ambitious self-starter with great organizational, interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
Job responsibilities include the following:
o Manage & resolve unpaid COD orders for the Hardware & Bath Showroom Division, which includes reviewing the unpaid orders daily for all showroom branches.
o Manage the UPS claims process for replacement orders and all missing UPS shipments.
o Billing/Customer issues – provide customer/sales support by responding to billing questions, sending invoices, and identifying issues to be escalated to management
o Record all customer payments accurately and on a timely basis and investigate any short payments or discrepancies.
Responsible for daily cash box reconciliation, G/L postings, check deposits, and weekly Brinks Deposits.
o Ensure tax exempt forms, W-9’s, and credit applications are scanned and saved in the system.
o Assist Accounting Department & Customer Solutions Department with various projects as needed
o Assist A/R Manager in credit application process
o Record customer NSF Checks/Credit Card Chargebacks and provide documentation for recovery of funds
o Update customer contact information, statement and invoice delivery methods
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Required Skills:
o 1-2 years related experience
o Strong attention to detail
o Experience with an ERP System (Eclipse preferred)
o Proficient with Excel
o Strong communication and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.63 - $26.44 per hour
