General Accounting and Analysis
- Prepares monthly general ledger and financial statements for real estate companies
- Prepare journal entries; maintain and reconcile ledger accounts for 2 operating divisions
- Assist with year-end audits
- Assist in preparation of monthly consolidation
- Performs input, maintenance and review of fixed assets
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account analyses
- Prepare monthly analyses of key corporate departmental expenses vs. budget
- Budget and forecast preparation
- Compliance Taxes
- Ad hoc analyses as requested.
- Cash Management and Bank Reporting
- Maintains cash management system
- Provides daily cash review and reporting for US Group
- Prepares bank reconciliations
- Prepares and distributes all bank forms
- Develops preliminary borrowing base calculations daily
- Develops preliminary borrowing base recap monthly
Responsibilities:
Oversee production reporting with variance analysis.- Responsible for the monthly reconciliation of all inventory related balance sheet accounts, cost of goods sold and variance data.
- Prepare and review monthly cost accounting journal entries.
- Monitor inventory transactions and physical inventory counts.
- Develop, recommend and implement methods to improve cost controls by establishing partnerships with the production and purchasing departments.
- Conduct monthly analytical review of cost of goods sold.
- Ensure formula accuracy.
- Support the preparation and development of standard costs across the organization.
- Review bills of material for standard cost accuracy.
- Perform cost analysis to assist with customer pricing recommendations.
- Conduct routine analysis of all phases of costing activities to include production, maintenance and research and development costs.
- Streamline accounting processes to enhance automation and efficiency.
Qualifications:

- Associates / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Min 10 years accounting experience preferably in a corporate setting
- 5-7 years of manufacturing or distribution experience is strongly preferred.
- Prior AR and Inventory Experience a must

- Preparation of Annual Budget
- Work Papers Preparation for Annual Audit

- Experience with WMS/Manufacturing ERP systems
- Must possess good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- This position is mostly sedentary, light interaction with plant environment, no heavy lifting associated.
