Our client a Financial Services organisation based in Dublin city are looking to recruit an Accounting Technician / Assistant Accountant to join them on a six month contract working remotely.

Our client are looking to recruit an experienced accounts person for a period of 6 months to assist their finance team during a period of business growth and change. The ideal candidate will be a part qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. The successful candidate will join a small finance team and will report directly to the Finance Manager

Responsibilities will include:

• Assist with the month end reporting process and the production of monthly management accounts
• Month end Variance analysis
• Multi currency cash management and bank reconciliations
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Fixed assets
• Expense processing and analysis
• Other ad hoc duties as required

Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Accounting Technician or part qualified accountant with at least 2 years experience
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly Excel and a strong general proficiency in IT systems
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work to set deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

This role will be working remotely for the period of the contract.
