About us

Renewable Construction Services, Inc is a General Contactor located in Escondido, CA with projects extending across the state. We are a Steel and Electrical Contractor that primarily works in the Renewable Energy sector building solar carports, ground mounts, and rooftop canopies in the Commercial and Industrial field.

RCSI is are currently seeking a practiced Accounts Payable Assistant to support our Accounting team in the office. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter who is a motivated and highly organized individual who has previous experience in AP/AR. This is the perfect opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive individual to join a collaborative team and work in an open and relaxed environment. This is a Temporary position until further notice.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• An understanding of Accounts Payable principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Accounting functions – Capital Expenses, Income Statements, etc.
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Capacity to maintain high level of confidentiality of organizational information

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Enter and upload invoices into Foundation
• Sort, code, and match invoices
• Flag any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices to Accountant
• Audit and process credit card bills
• Assist in creating a paperless environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• 1-3 years of related experience in accounting
• Any accounting software experience preferred (such as Foundation, Sage 50, QuickBooks)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds at times

HOURS AND PAY AND BENEFITS

• Pay range is $20/hour to $23/hour depending on experience
• Work in Escondido office
• Monday to Thursday 7AM-330PM
• May - August 2023

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
