What is the Position:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is primarily responsible for collecting payment for services and goods that are sold to our customers, with a focus on customer satisfaction and administration.

Daily activity for an accounts receivable clerk includes, but is not limited to:

• Posting customers payments by recording cash, check, and credit card transactions
• Processing daily deposits
• Daily completion of work orders
• Generate and send out invoices.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
• Assisting customers with answering account related questions, verifying discrepancies, and resolving billing issues
• Assist in loss mitigation and assist in the Departments collection effort. Contact customer for payments and workouts.
• Perform month-end closing.
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.

Qualifications:

• Degree in accounting OR 1+ years’ experience in a related role
• Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Strong customer service skills
• A high degree of accuracy
• Basic understanding of accounting principles

Pay range:

• Based on experience. Starting at $17.00/ hour
