Mount Sinai West seeks an Addiction Psychiatrist or Addiction Medicine physician for its Addiction Institute of Mount Sinai West Inpatient Addiction Unit!

The successful candidate will provide medical evaluation and treatment services, including providing all evidence-based treatments for opioid use disorders. Administrative tasks include local oversight and participation in quality initiatives, oversight of local clinical operations in collaboration with clinic managers, local regulatory compliance in collaboration with the Medical Director of the program, and clinical supervision of counselors, nurses, physician assistants and physicians. Clinic physicians, with guidance from the medical director also participate in local revenue cycle and productivity management, and cultivating positive relationships with the communities in which we work. Local stewardship and ongoing cultivation of a culture of respect and of an outstanding patient experience are central to performance in this position.
Preference is accorded to candidates with fellowship training in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine or with previous clinical experience in providing medication-assisted treatment for people with substance use disorders. Our compensation plan includes consideration to your experience as well as specialty and sub-specialty board certifications.

- Compensation range from $200,000 to $225,000 annually (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in addiction psychiatry or addiction medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in addiction psychiatry or addiction medicine if within 3 years of fellowship graduation
- Ability to obtain a full and unrestricted New York State medical license
- Ability to obtain a full and unrestricted DEA license

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialties, historical productivity, historical collections, and hospital/community need.
