Administrative Assistant/Customer Service Representative
Job description
The Admin Assistant/Customer Service Agent is responsible for supporting office operations and leadership by entering in order information from clients into the WMS, maintaining client relationships as it pertains to their materials and order management. The activities of this position may be performed individually or within a team structure that may include direction or assistance from both management and peers. Working safely is critical, sober eye testing twice daily is a condition of employment.
- Responsible for entering and reviewing new projects into our accounting software including confirming that the project setup will meet client invoicing requirements, preparing invoices and submitting to the client, and producing reports as requested.
- Supports the activities of floor personnel by scheduling, documenting, and filing completed inbound / outbound paperwork completing files for shipment.
- Responsible for coordinating the shipping and receiving of material for a single or multiple clients daily.
- Responsible for communicating with internal team, truck drivers, brokers, and other external clients.
- Audit, counts, and takes multiple photographs of all inbound / outbound shipments under their assigned areas including accurate product labeling.
- Directs hourly material handlers in the loading and unloading of materials.
- Pre-alerts (schedule in) shipments in general using a daily “share point” file in a timely and accurate matter.
- Responsible for providing documents, inventory information and other communications directly with the client that they are supporting with approval from management.
- Responsible for documentation filing and updating files with new data as needed.
- Drives company golf cars/side by side to transport self and personnel to active locations within the warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Must be able to bend, turn, lift, twist and lift to 20 lbs as is necessary
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
- This position may work both inside and outside in all types of weather conditions and in all temperatures depending on where material is stored, received, or shipped
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
