Responsibilities include but are not limited:
- Provides administrative support to supervisor and employees providing social work services.
- Answers multi-line phone system, responds to inquiries by phone and in person.
- Prepares and maintains files, logs, manuals, and other agency-specific documents.
- Drafts or prepares correspondence, detailed reports or other documents.
- Orders office supplies and maintains inventory of equipment.
- Receives, organizes, and distributes mail and other materials.
- Enters time/attendance information into computer system and validates leave used/earned for staff.
- Schedules appointments or meetings for supervisor and/or staff.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- The ability to work well under pressure

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: High School Graduate
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Three years of experience in business, administrative work, research, or clerical experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: College will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE
Working Conditions
Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
