Job Description
Purpose of Position:
Reporting directly to the Admission Officer, this position is responsible for assisting with the Management of the Patient Services in the hospital as related to the Admitting Department Information
Responsibilities:
- Supervises and Schedule work assignments for Admitting and Patient Information
- Serve as Supervisor for Assistant Coordinating Manager and all Clerical Level IV
- Provide Supervisory Coverage on different tours and receive calls on the off-tours
- Train(s) Staff on policy and procedures for Admitting and Information Desk
- Ensure Department members are trained all Admitting functions, including the completion of Birth and Death Certificates, City Burial Forms, ME Forms and Physician and staff registration in eVital
- Assist in completion of Admitting Regulatory Reports
Minimum Qualifications
Educational and/or experience requirements will vary requiring diverse kinds and levels depending on the content, complexity and variety of project. Compensation levels will correspond to the requirements developed for the designated project.
In no event will the acceptable minimum be below:
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in a specialization discipline consistent with project content; and,
2. Four years of substitutable and relevant health care experience related to the objectives of the project; or,
3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of experience, training and education.
