Objective Summary: The Admission Director will serve as the face of the our facility, welcoming the resident and collecting their personal and medical information

Essential Functions:
1) Ensure every referral is processed and reviewed in timely manner and that every admission is accomplished by providing a smooth transition from hospital, community or other setting

2) Pre-admission notification to staff of what resident requires and when will be arriving

3) Coordinates moves within the facility

4) Ensure nurses and CNA on duty at the time of admission meet and greet Resident

5) Conduct tours

6) Route all new referrals to appropriate department heads

7) Daily room rounds

8) completing daily bed board

9) Adjusts priorities and schedules to meet resident and facility needs

10) Reports and assists in the correction of problems related to the safety, cleanliness and comfort of the residents and work areas. Ensures universal precautions and infection control techniques are followed and maintained.

11) Works to improve job skills, knowledge and performance

12) Follows established personnel, department and facility policies and procedures

13) Attends mandatory educational programs and training identified by the facility

14) Accepts changes in work schedule/assignments to meet the needs of the residents

15) Performs other related duties as assigned
