Hello! My name is Garrett Kitchens and I'm the Director of MOAA (Marketing, Outreach, Admissions & Alumni), I know that seems like a lot but all of these departments work very closely together. We literally have the best jobs in the company, we get to work with families during their time of crisis when they are seeking treatment, and then we get to work with clients when they become alumni and their lives are really starting to take shape. My journey with The River Source started in 2015 when I checked in as a client. A year later, I began working here as a BHT. I realized I was passionate about this line of work and steadily made it to a leadership position. Outside of work I'm pretty close to being a hermit. Me and family stay at home and love spending time with each other. When I leave the house it's usually to do stuff for my personal recovery

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

We are looking for a part-time Admissions Coordinator! The River Source offers industry leading, cost-effective, treatment for those in need. The mission of the part-time Admissions Coordinator is to provide compassionate, responsive, and high-quality care to our community members battling with their life threatening disease of addiction. You will also be the first voice that a prospective client hears when reaching out for help. We are looking for someone why possesses the following skills:

• Engaging communication skills

• A desire to build rapport and establish professional and therapeutic relationships

• An attraction to a fast-paced dynamic work environment

• A hunger to grow and learn personally and professionally

• An ability to provide and receive support from an encouraging team

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Associates degree (Preferred)
• At least 1 year of experience in substance abuse rehabilitation (Required)
• 1 year experience in Admissions (Preferred)

Responsible For

• Answering all incoming phone calls during scheduled shifts to provide education to families and potential clients struggling with addiction.
• Working alongside those seeking treatment to provide a quality experience beginning their recovery journey.
• Conducting brief assessments, building rapport and gathering information for the treatment team.
• Educating families and prospective clients on the life-saving benefits of long-term treatment.
• Collaborating alongside the treatment team to ensure a smooth transition into our care.

Work Remotely:

Ability to work part time remotely with requirements to also be at the office part time, must be able to fully be attentive in front of a computer and be able to answer phone calls accordingly. This position requires an environment with no background noise or distractions.
