The Admissions Supervisor will manage all applicable functions related to admitting and discharging patients, to appropriate distribution of patient information, to determining the methods of payment for and receiving payment for hospital services including multiple insurance plans and self-pay.

ESSENTIAL TASKS/DUTIES:

Manages tasks and supervises personnel involved in the following:

1. Admitting and discharging patients.

2. Properly distributing patient information.

3. Determining what methods and amounts are used to pay for hospital services.

4. Receiving payments for services, for deductible amounts, and for co-pay amounts.

5. Maintaining information desk responsibilities.

6. Appropriately receiving and directing incoming calls.

7. Ensures compliance with all applicable, standards, laws, and regulations.

8. Supervises all admissions personnel and oversees all admissions functions.

9. Manages and/or maintains an appropriate inventory of supplies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 - $36,377.00 per year

Experience:

• Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Supervising: 2 years (Required)
