What this role is all about:

We are looking for an Advanced Operator- Whey in Luxemburg, WI.

The Advanced Operator-Whey position is responsible for the operation of equipment to process whey into high quality whey ingredients.

• Starting pay $25.50
• $1.50 shift premium from 7:00pm-7:00am
• Double time on Sunday and holidays
• 2-2-3 Schedule 6:00am-6:00pm
• Perform accurate hourly checks on assigned equipment and make necessary adjustments as needed to keep product within customer and organization specifications.
  • Machines Include: HTST, Ultrafiltration, Microfiltration, Nanofiltration, Reverse Osmosis, Spray Dryers, Separators, Heat Exchangers, and Packaging/Packaging Robot.
  • Checks include flow rates, temperatures, system pressures, pH, percent solids, and protein percentage.
• Shutdown, clean, and start-up assigned machines on a daily basis or as required.
• Set-up line circuits, silos, and tanks to be CIPed and setup backup for production as required
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing dry cargo, bulk powder and liquid tanks/trailers.
• Check incoming loads of whey, WPC, and permeate to verify conformity to organization requirements

What you need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in a food/dairy manufacturing environment preferred.

Where you’ll be working:

• Agropur’s US operations produce approximately 1 billion pounds of quality, award winning cheese each year. The US operations produce more than 20 different cheese varieties along with whey protein and dry ingredients.
