Position Description
Multiband Global is seeking Aerial Drop Technicians to join our growing Fiber team in Austin TX. We prefer technicians who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to have a meaningful impact on customer and company results.
We will train! Entry-level positions are available! Successful candidates will have customer service orientation, strong communication skills, and be properly trained in underground trench drops.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare the work site to locate utilities and eliminate hazards
• Signal operators to facilitate the movement or alignment of equipment
• Load, unload and transport construction materials and tools
• Follow safety standards throughout the process

Position Requirements

• Must possess a strong commitment to customer service and an enthusiastic demeanor.
• Be able to work flexible hours and be willing to travel
• Must have a valid Driver’s license - Class A CDL preferred
• Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds regularly and demonstrate experience with the safe use of extension ladders
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience in overhead utilities or installing fiber optic cables preferred
