Job description
Due to professional advancement Hershey Public Schools is looking for a 8-12 Agriculture Education teacher and FFA adviser. Hershey is currently in the first year of a program of study in Nebraska Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources and is looking for a teacher to continue a program that has strong student participation and community support. The candidate will have the opportunity to continue the program of study and the FFA chapter while the school undergoes an Agriculture classroom expansion and the construction of a greenhouse on school grounds. This position is strictly an Agriculture teaching position and there will not be Industrial Technology courses assigned to the Agriculture teacher. Hershey Public Schools is a progressive district with excellent staff, students, and community support located 12 miles west of North Platte on I-80. Current enrollment is 525 in grades PreK-12.Veteran's Preference, Position will remain open until filled. EOE
