JOB SUMMARY
Advanced ENT and Allergy, a long standing member of the Louisville and Southern Indiana healthcare community, is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Clinical Process Manager to join their Team. As a mid-size, Physician-owned practice, our company is large enough to offer growth and opportunity, but still maintain the small-office feel. We are seeking a dynamic process manager to improve the efficiency of our business processes. The Clinical Process Manager will be responsible for an ancillary department of the ENT clinic and for evaluating the efficiency and costs of established processes, developing improvement strategies, and facilitating changes. They will oversee daily operations for all locations and provide support for their team (~20 staff members). Updating process documents and conducting efficiency audits will be an important part of this role.
To ensure success in this role, the right candidate will exhibit a deep understanding of business management, clinical office management knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams. The ability to identify and improve key processes in order to reduce staff costs, production costs, and improve patient and process flow is key for the Clinical Process Manager.
Our professional and patient-focused Team supports our Physicians to plan and provide treatment for patients in an out-patient setting. Flexibility is required from all our Team Members, as travel to different office locations in the Louisville, Southern Indiana, and surrounding areas is needed in order to best meet our patients' needs.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates an attitude of empathy and concern for our patients.
- Provides consistent support and serves as a reference for team members.
- Develops training schedules and processes for all new team members.
- Reviews production and ensures goals are being met.
- Manages supplies and invoicing
- Participates in Board Meetings and Physician Committees, as required
- Point of contact for all staff regarding IT, Practice Management System, and Electronic Medical Record training and problem resolution.
- Holds regular office meetings to keep staff informed about all new policies and procedures, insurance information, memos, and to discuss/resolve problems affecting operations.
- Works with other department managers and Human Resources to ensure all departments function as a team.
- Meeting with business managers to discuss business objectives.
- Analyzing the efficiency and costs of existing business processes.
- Identifying areas of improvement.
- Creating and presenting process improvement reports.
- Overseeing the implementation of new business processes.
- Managing improvement teams and external contractors.
- Troubleshooting and improving new processes.
- Updating process and procedure policies.
- Conducting ongoing analysis of processes in line with industry regulations.
- Staying up to date with the latest technology and improvement strategies.
- Provide excellent support service to our Physicians enabling them to focus on patient care.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, process control management, or similar.
- Four years management experience as a process manager.
- Six Sigma Certification highly desired
- In-depth knowledge of relevant industry processes.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to coordinate projects and lead multiple teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Report and procedure writing skills.
- Available to work after hours and weekends when required.
- Experienced in front office, clinical and billing operations in a multi-physician, private or hospital owned medical office setting highly desired.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
