Job description
Middletown Township Health Department has vacancies for per-diem Animal Control Officers. The primary functions will include but are not limited to patrolling, capturing and impounding stray animals, wild game, birds and unlicensed dogs, along with handling complaints of the same. Applicants will be required to issue summonses for violations of local ordinances and maintain essential records, reports and files. The qualified candidate must possess a valid N.J. Driver’s License along with a current and valid certificate as an Animal Control Officer issued by the New Jersey Department of Health.
