Job description

We are recruiting for an Experienced Architect for our client in the Cavan area.

Basic Skills/qualifications

• Architect, with between 5 and 10 years experience
• Good design skills; proficient in Autocad & Sketchup and Revit.
• A candidate should be familiar with planning laws, building regulations and have a knowledge of the BCMS system. Familiarity with Fire Safety Certificates and DACs would be preferable.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (Level 8).
• 3+ years' experience within industry.
• Strong interpersonal communication and coordination skills with the ability to work in multi-discipline teams
• A proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios
• Detailed knowledge of the Irish & UK building regulations, IBC and NFPA
• Educated to Degree level in Architectural Technology
• High level of proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD
• Ideally 8 years’ post qualification experience across a variety of project type
• Previous project experience across residential, industrial, healthcare or educational developments is desired
• Highly motivated individual with good communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Revit

Public Works

Our client practice primarily in the area of Public Works for the HSE; OPW and school projects. They also work for a number of local authorities and one of the pillar banks across their branch network.

Private Work

Our client works for private commercial Clients and carry out a small number of domestic projects only if they are interesting in nature usually.

Office hours

The standard contract is for 37.5 hours per week .

Salary: From €40,000.00 per year
