Architect / Project Manager
Design professional who is competent in all conventional aspects of architecture. Responsible for the finished construction documents on projects of any scale. Responsible for the setup and completion of the BIM model (Revit) for a project or designated portions of a project. Familiar with Revit capabilities is fundamental. Ability to manage a team of drafters to aid in the preparation of construction documents in Revit. Implements construction document standards for inForm Architecture.

Minimum Requirements:
Accredited degree in Architecture. B.Arch or M.Arch or Education or work experience in Construction Management.
Preferred:
Work experience through all stages of a project- design through construction.
- Licensed Architect in Utah, or eligible for licensure.
- LEED Accredited Professional
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Understands project goals and works towards achieving those goals on all levels of the project.
- Exercises independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, and use of standard techniques solves problems when encountered, and receives guidance on complex projects. Familiar with standard construction techniques, materials selection and use, and the design development process.
- Performs work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Independently solves problems encountered.
- Understands code analysis using the IBC and how to implement code requirements into the construction documents.
- Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex issues and supervisory approval on proposed project plans.
- Coordinates with consultants as required on projects to ensure documents are completed in a timely manner and with proper coordination.
- Coordinates document submission to Authorities Having Jurisdiction to obtain permits.
- Coordinates project bidding processes with the contractor.
- Works in concert with multiple architectural design professionals and project managers on larger projects.
- Meets with owners along with other team members as part of the design process.
- Develops project specifications and/or coordinates with others as necessary to create project specifications.
- May assist in the design and design development of a project.
- Works on the Construction Administration phase of projects through meetings with the contractor and owners, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, responding to RFI’s, performing job site observations, and similar tasks.
- Clear internal and external communications, collaborative problem solving, and positive teamwork are essential skills.
- Maintain documentation of project progress, decision-making, and parties involved throughout all stages of design and construction.
- Participation in promotion of inForm Architecture in marketing, business development, and company service and culture activities as requested.
- Perform reviews of construction documents at varying stages for projects that are the responsibility of other staff for quality assurance and provide direction and mentoring of other staff members in performing the tasks necessary to complete a high level of quality in the construction documents.
- Train and mentor staff on job responsibilities during all phases of a project including construction administration.
Estimated Salary: $52,000 - $130,000, DOE.
Expected hours of work: 40 hrs/week. Positions are designed to provide a flexible work environment to meet the professional development and individual needs of team members. Employees are allowed up to two days of remote work per week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51,448.00 - $127,575.00 per year
