Job Summary

The Architectural Inspector at The McCloud Group will be assigned to our Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) project for DASNY and reports to Senior Project Manager. He/she will perform inspection services on interior finishes for the FIT building as required by Senior Project Manager.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specs.
• Perform daily inspections including finishes such as curtain walls, drywall, and doors.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports and logs.
• Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders.
• Ensure all Structural and Architectural construction is in accordance with the contract Plans and Specifications
• Attend safety and progress meetings.
• Perform tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building / superstructure construction inspection
• Experience working on public projects, with multi-trade contractors is a plus
• Proficient with computer software including MS Office.
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $104,000/year
