Position: Asleep Overnight/Direct Care

Reports to: Residential Program Manager

Hours: Part-time 29 hrs. $17.60 hour. Tuesday 10pm-9am, Wednesday 11pm-9am and Thursday 3pm-11pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care coverage, responding to individual issues, between 11:00p.m. and 8:00a.m. on scheduled nights/mornings and as required by Program Manager.
• Responsible for calling or coming in shortly before 11:00p.m. for an update of program status.
• Know emergency procedures and basic emergency facts regarding all individual living at the location where coverage is being provided.
• If Med Certified, dispense medications as prescribed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPR/First Aid Certificate
• Valid MA license, availability of vehicle

Language Skills

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies, or family members.
